PlayAppTest exists because of a rule that catches every independent developer sooner or later. Google requires twelve testers for fourteen continuous days before a personal account may publish, and finding twelve people who will actually stay opted in turns out to be harder than building the app.

We keep a pool of real testers with real Play accounts and real devices, and we run the unglamorous part: inviting them, checking they opted in, noticing when one drops out, replacing them before the fortnight is lost. It is not clever work. It is just work somebody has to do, and doing it badly costs a developer two weeks.

We are based in Nairobi and work with developers anywhere. Payment is by card or M-Pesa, per run, with nothing renewing quietly in the background.

How we work

• No console access. We never ask for your Play Console credentials, and you should refuse anyone who does.
• No bots. Automated accounts fail closed tests and put your developer account at risk.
• Evidence, not assurances. Every opt-in comes with a screenshot you keep.
• Testers are paid. People who are paid properly stay opted in, which is the whole product.
